Natural de Belém do Pará e radicada desde a infância no Rio de Janeiro, Jô Rogatty iniciou sua trajetória profissional na Publicidade, atuando com design editorial e mídia impressa. Sua busca intelectual a levou às Ciências Sociais, explorando a antropologia, filosofia e história da arte. Ao estabelecer seu ateliê no norte da Alemanha, consolidou sua expressão artística através de séries que fundem fios, pigmentos e pintura a óleo. Atualmente a artista está pesquisando a potência do ser enquanto ser sem fronteiras e formas de ampliar diálogos interculturais.

Originally from Belém do Pará and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Jô Rogatty began her professional career in advertising, working within editorial design and print media. Her intellectual curiosity eventually led her to Social Sciences, where she explored anthropology, philosophy, and art history. Since establishing her studio in northern Germany, she has refined her artistic voice through series that merge threads, pigments, and oil painting. Currently, the artist is investigating the potential of the boundless self and ways to expand intercultural dialogues.
