About me
Jô Rogatty is an indigenous artist from the Region of Amazonia, Brasil. She moved to Rio de Janeiro when she was a child. She graduated in Social Communication (1996) and Social Sciences (2001). Her work brings a touch of humor and an anarchic vision about daily life themes. She also is passionate about magic creatures, Rio de Janeiro culture, indigenous culture and the power of the woman. She lives in northern Germany for over a decade, therefore she also is interested in birds and plants of the region.
